Commercial Interiors West Sussex • Partitioning • Suspended Ceilings • Internal Plastering • Render • Screeding • Retail interiors • Shop Refits
For the past fifteen years StanLil has been providing dry lining solutions for a wide range of clients who trust us to provide an excellent service when it comes to internal plastering, partitioning, external rendering, and floor screeding.
We work across a variety of sectors and each one requires a slightly different approach from our highly experienced team. We are well-known for our experience in the commercial sector, working in retail contexts on shop refits and interior fit outs; recently we created the interior for an exclusive, high-end store in Sloane Street, London where the work had to be scheduled to minimise disruption for customers as the store was open whilst we worked!
Creating Retail Interiors to Inspire Customers
We always say to our clients that if they can imagine the work they want done, we can create it for them. With retail, we often find ourselves discussing the atmosphere our client wishes to create for shoppers, and the ‘flow’ they wish to determine through the store. Having worked on many interior fit-outs, our contractors have developed expertise in helping the client to draw the eye of the customer to certain areas of the store, and guide them effortlessly from one area to another.
Skilled Contractors For All Commercial Interiors in West Sussex
The design of retail interiors is created by using partitioning to break up the open floor space. When working on shop refits we tend to favour a metal stud, friction fit system which is both sturdy and flexible. We combine fluid floor space with the use of a suspended ceiling. This provides the potential for split levels, hides unsightly electrical wiring or pipes, and can enhance the acoustic qualities of the retail space. Suspended ceilings are quick and easy to install, and they also offer the opportunity for specialist fittings such as hidden speakers or concealed lighting. Our dry lining, partitioning and ceiling solutions mean that once the installation is complete there’s no need to wait for plaster to dry, the process of adding colour and tone to the environment can begin immediately.
Decorative features such as coving and cornice work are helpful when clients are seeking to soften the edges of the retail environment, or draw the eye using decorative plasterwork above a door, or over a window.
Flexible and Fast Turnaround for Retail Interiors
The days of traditional establishments that would serve a generation are now long gone; the contemporary retail sector requires the creative application of ideas, a ‘can do’ approach and a fast turnaround on the fit-out process. At StanLil we understand the speed and pace of modern commerce and we adapt traditional trades to 21st century demands.
