MODULAR CONSTRUCTION AS FLEXIBLE AS YOU NEED IT

Modular construction is the process where the component parts of the building, or the ‘modules’, are constructed off-site (usually in a factory setting) before being transported to the construction site to be assembled.

These modules are built using the same standards and codes as if the building were constructed using more traditional methods, but this allows for a construction to be erected quicker.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO MODULAR CONSTRUCTION?

With a modular approach, the modules can be rearranged or reused in different projects, meaning a reduction in overall waste and the opportunity to change the structure, without incurring any significant financial cost.

2. Quicker Turnaround Time

As the modules are built elsewhere, the construction time is reduced on-site. This means that the building of the modules can take place whilst the foundations or base layers are implemented, as opposed to waiting for that part to be completed – saving you time and turning the project around quicker.

3. Greater Safety For Workers

As the modules are built in strictly controlled factories and warehouses, the need for workers to work at heights – or use dangerous machinery on-site – is greatly reduced. Site safety is a key element, and any safety increase can only benefit workers.
