Old Roots – New Bones

From the time of its first being constructed in the early part of the 20^th century, this sturdy old lady had earned its living as a family run printers’ workshop, seeing continuous use for nearly a century. Through this hard-working life, it has played witness to a great many of changes to its surroundings.

21st Century Living

Following a short period being empty, this resilient building has been transformed into a beautiful, sharp and contemporary residential property offering luxury lifestyle opportunities throughout each of its bright and fully appointed apartments.

Contractors Scope of Works

StanLil were appointed to undertake the conversion in a typically modest time frame without compromise to quality of craftsmanship and finishes. The conversion required StanLil’s team to undertake a complete Category A and Category B fit out solution excluding the M&E component.

Following the complete strip out, our teams set about transforming the interior, initially defining the space with SFS partitioning, suspended ceilings and a combination of screeded and raised flooring solutions throughout. StanLil’s joiners carried out the 1^st and 2^nd fix joinery, which once completed allowed our finishing teams to construct kitchens, bathrooms and bespoke elements of the furnishings.

Final Flourish

Ceiling and Floor finishes were applied to a very high quality specification, with the finish decorations both inside and out were undertaken to a very high finish, with the exterior being completed in a fine silicon colour render to ensure the outer vista reflected the interior quality and modern look and feel

Having been completed on budget and on time, the project has transformed a hard worked structure into homes fit to deliver the much desired convenient and luxury lifestyle.
