After 6 years unless the data is needed for a particular investigation it will be destroyed securely by shredding and being deposed of under confidential material.

Software security is installed on all computers which constantly scan for malware and viruses, all computers are also encrypted.
All paper files kept are in locked cupboards in the office and anything not needed will be shredded and disposed of securely.
